Good-bye Switzerland!

On Wednesday, March 25, we handed over our apartment (to our friend Caleb) and everything went perfectly. I was really worried about the handover and apartment walk-through because I have heard so many horror stories about how nit-picky the landlord can be, especially to foreigners. However, considering that we paid a cleaning company an arm and a leg to clean the apartment and be there for the walkthrough, it should have gone perfectly.

After the handover, we were technically homeless.

We went to Nooba, the Thai restaurant across the street from our apartment, for lunch one last time before heading to the airport for Johannesburg.

We had a great 2.5 years in Zurich and will definitely miss it!
